Carl and Edith Loomis

April 30, 1989

Carl bought the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kent City in 1934. Carl and Edith had been living next door to the Church at the time and bought it only to have control of who lived there. The man that Carl dealt with in the purchasing was a Mol. He had a woodworking shop elsewhere in Kent City. There was a 75-foot by 80-foot buggy shed on the lot.

In 1989, Carl still had a bible and an old organ from the church.

Carl thinks that he remembers that the congregation moved up to Sand Lake
